As promised with a mid-March tweet, Frisco ISD took the wraps off the logo for its latest high school, Panther Creek, on Wednesday at Lone Star High School.

Panther Creek will be the Panthers, as if it was going to be anything else. Any other nickname, especially another feline moniker, would have read and sounded weird.

Set to open in August 2022, Panther Creek will be the 12th school within Frisco ISD and becomes the second to have a feline name.

As seen below, Panther Creek’s colors are turquoise, black and white with gray accents. No other versions have been revealed at this time, so there’s no telling if it will be just a head logo or if there will be a full-body version.

The logo is solid, overall, but there is some skew issues with the teeth/mouth that causes some distortion.

Panther Creek in Frisco is the second school in the state to be called Panther Creek Panthers, as Panther Creek CISD in Valera shares that same name.

The latest Panthers will be the 75th school in the state to have that name, according to our database, and will start playing at the 4A level (all other Frisco ISD schools are at the 5A level).
